Southaven GOP Mayoral Candidates to Face Runoff Election
SOUTHAVEN, MS (abc24.com) - It's uncertain who will challenge incumbent Greg Davis as Southaven's next mayor since there was no clear winner in Tuesday's primary election.
Leading Republican candidates Darren Musslewhite and Jerald Wheeler will face a runoff election in two weeks. The winner of that election will then face Davis, who is running as an independent, and Democrat Coria Williams in the general election on June 4.
Final Election Results
Darren Musslewhite: 2489 votes, 40%
Jerald Wheeler: 1618 votes, 26%
Mark Gardner: 1456 votes, 23%
Joshua Anderson: 353 votes, 6%
Gerald Clifton: 240 votes, 4%
Christopher Klass: 33 votes, 1%
