Real Estate ? Denver construction firm working on CS projects
Denver-based Golden Triangle Construction is working on two major Colorado Springs construction projects and one in Woodland Park.
The company is building an 8,453-square foot medical facility for elder care. The new green building will house Age Well Associates (formerly Colorado Springs Senior Medicine).
The building, designed by OZ Architecture and located in Colorado Springs, is designed to accommodate Age Well?s primary patient population of seniors ages 60 and older on Medicare. The facility will have 14 patient exam rooms and a multipurpose room for health classes and seminars.
While the building will not be LEED certified, there will be numerous ?green? building features including a highly efficient mechanical system and building enclosure. The new facility is intended to provide not simply immediate care but also long term well being of the patients. It broke ground Sept. 15.
Golden Triangle is also leading renovation efforts at the Pikes Peak Community College Lab facility. The renovation includes extensive remodel8ing efforts along with a new 13,133-square foot addition to the Aspen Building, according to a release from Golden Triangle.
The project will include conversion of existing laboratory and classroom spaces into six new multifunctional laboratories/studios with a shared preparation area and a new connecting corridor.? This renovation will also include updates to the mechanical and technological equipment in the occupied second and third floors of the building.
The project is slated to start this month and is expected to be finished by March.
Triangle is also building a new 3,837-square foot wood frame bank building for ENT Federal Credit Union in Woodland Park. That project is underway and started in June.
